Steelers Run Walk
The Steelers Run Walk is an annual event held on Labor Day that offers both in-person and virtual participation. The main course is a level 3.1-mile route on the North Shore with a finish along the Acrisure Stadium warning track. A Kids Fun Run is also part of the event.
The event serves as a fundraiser; proceeds benefit the Art Rooney Scholarship Fund and the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research. Entry fees listed for the event include a $45 fee for the Steelers Run and Walk and a $15 fee for the Kids Fun Run. All registrants receive a commemorative medal, a Steelers Run Walk t-shirt, and a goody bag. Virtual participants can receive mailed items and should register by the stated virtual registration deadline to get race items before race day. International virtual registrations incur an additional $10 shipping fee.
Only in-person, officially timed participants are eligible for overall and age group awards. In-person participants may enter a race day raffle using a detachable tag on their race bib. Baby joggers, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, strollers, roller skates and roller blades are not permitted on the course. Snacks and beverages are provided after the event; additional food will not be sold inside the stadium.
