Steelers Run Walk
The Steelers Run Walk is an annual fundraising running event held on Labor Day at Acrisure Stadium and on the North Shore. The 38th edition features a level 3.1-mile course that finishes on the Acrisure Stadium warning track and offers both in-person and virtual participation options. A Kids Fun Run is also part of the event.
Entry fees listed for the event include a $50 fee for the Steelers Run and Walk and a $20 fee for the Kids Fun Run. All registrants receive a commemorative 2026 medal, a Steelers Run Walk t-shirt, and a goody bag; virtual registrants who register by the stated deadline receive those items by mail. Virtual participants are not eligible for overall or age-group timed awards or prizes; in-person officially timed participants are eligible. In-person entrants can use the detachable tag on their race bib to enter a race day raffle in the FedEx Great Hall.
Proceeds benefit the Art Rooney Scholarship Fund and the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research. The event notice specifies that baby joggers, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, strollers, roller skates and roller blades are not permitted on the course. Snacks and beverages are provided after the race, and a nearby Kickoff & Rib Festival on Art Rooney Avenue is open after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
