Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K
The Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K takes place at the Stearns County Fairgrounds in Sauk Centre, MN on August 1, 2026. The event is organized in conjunction with the county fair and in collaboration with local dairy and agricultural organizations to promote regional industry and products.

Both routes begin and end on the fairgrounds near the fair office, the 4H building, and the general livestock building. The course uses an out-and-back route on the Lake Wobegon Trail. The 5K is chip-timed by Pickle Events. Packet pickup and race-day registration are available at the start/finish area.
Registration details note an early registration fee of $15 before July 24 and a higher fee after that date. Online registration closes July 31 and day-of registration is available at the fairgrounds. Registrations before July 24 are guaranteed a race shirt; shirts after that date are distributed first-come, first-serve.
Race entry includes a t-shirt, a race swag bag, a passport to Adventures in Agriculture, and post-race refreshments including locally produced cold chocolate milk and snacks. All 1K participants receive an award at the finish; 5K awards are given to overall top female and top male and in age divisions. Parking at the fairgrounds is available for a daily fee in cash; fair entrance is free. Inline skates and bicycles are not allowed, and stroller users are asked to line up near the back of the start.
