Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K
The Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K takes place at the Stearns County Fairgrounds in Sauk Centre during the county fair. Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 1K Kids Fun Run for ages 12 and under
Both routes begin and end on the fairgrounds near the fair office, the 4H building, and the general livestock building. The course leaves the fairgrounds and follows an out-and-back on the Lake Wobegon Trail. The 5K will be chip timed by Pickle Events. Packet pickup and day of registration are available at the start and finish area.
Registration details note an early registration fee of $15 for the 5K with a later increase to $20 after July 24th. The 1K Kids Fun Run has free registration for participants age 12 and under. Registrations received before July 24th are guaranteed a t-shirt; sizes are limited for later registrations.
Race entry includes a t-shirt (subject to the registration date), a race swag bag, a Passport to Ag card, and post-race chocolate milk and snacks. Awards are given to all 1K finishers and to overall top male and female 5K finishers, plus age division awards. Parking at the fairgrounds is available for a fee.
