Steamworks Half Marathon - Durango, CO
The Steamworks Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Durango, Colorado. The event is a point to point half marathon of 13.1 miles that runs from Baker's Bridge to the Durango Fitness Club along County Road 250, running alongside the Animas River. The course is USATF certified and is held at high elevation, around 6,500 feet.
The route is not closed to traffic; it will be marked with orange cones and mile markers at each mile. Porta‑potties are located at the start line, the halfway point, and the finish. Six aid stations are placed roughly every two miles and provide water and Tailwind sports drink; one station also offers GU, snacks, and a porta‑potty. Runners may use provided transportation from Durango Fitness Club to the start or arrange drop off at Baker's Bridge. No parking is available at the start; parking is available at the finish and overflow parking at Grace Church.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Durango Running Company and on race morning at Durango Fitness Club. All finishers receive a custom pint glass. Overall male and female winners receive a shoe store gift certificate and first place men and women in standard age groups receive Steamworks gift certificates.
