Overview
The Run Rabbit Run event takes place on September 18-19, 2026, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The courses run through the mountains and Routt National Forest, with the 100-mile course also passing through Emerald Mountain. The event is known for its prize money.

Course Details
The 50-mile race starts at the Steamboat Springs ski area at an elevation of 6,900 feet. It proceeds to Mount Werner (10,568 feet), across the Continental Divide to Rabbit Ears Mountain (10,500 feet), and back to the ski area. The course features nearly 9,000 feet of climbing.
The 100-mile course also starts at the base of the ski area and includes Buffalo Pass (10,300 feet) and Emerald Mountain. This course has approximately 22,000 feet of climbing.
Prize Information
The 100-mile race offers a total prize purse of $75,000, with a guaranteed $15,000 for the winners. A team challenge also awards $5,000 to the winning team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
