Steady Steve 5K
Steady Steve 5K is a community 5K run and a 5K walk held in Batesville, Arkansas on October 3, 2026. The event starts and finishes at the Our Father's Table facility at 548 North Central Avenue and follows a route through Batesville’s Westside that passes West Elementary School.
Proceeds from the event go to Our Father's Table, a nonprofit food ministry that has distributed sack lunches as a street outreach on Saturdays since 2012 and now serves hot meals two nights a week. The ministry seeks to build nurturing relationships with people who are hungry and to connect them with additional community resources.
Registration is available online and on race day; an online entry fee of $25 is noted for the early period and race-day registration is listed at $30. Entrants may make an additional donation above the entry fee. Supporting materials such as a printable flier, a sponsorship form, and a paper entry form are provided by organizers.
Entrants registered by September 18 will receive a T-shirt in their requested size in their race packet; later registrants may receive shirts at packet pickup on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Awards are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers in both the Runner and Walker divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
