Event details
The event takes place on 18 June 2026 at Forcett Hall, Forcett, North Yorkshire (what3words ///registers.marriage.state). Entry is limited to 200 runners. Age restrictions are 16+ for the 10km and 13+ for the 5km. Parking is available on site with signs and marshals to direct vehicles. Registration takes place close to the parking field and race start. Toilets will be available at Race HQ. There is no mandatory kit for the event.
Course and race information
Distances:
- 5km - one loop
- 10km - two laps of the 5km loop
The course runs on trails across pasture fields, farm tracks and through woodland. It is described as fairly flat by the organiser’s standards but may be muddy and uneven in places; trail shoes are recommended. Course markings include orange barrier tape, pin flags and coloured arrow signs; critical turns and road crossings will be manned by marshals. Runners are advised to carry a copy of the route map in case markings are moved. There will be one water station for the 10km at the start of the second lap, and water for 5km runners at the end of their race. Poles are banned. The course includes single-track sections with passing etiquette and right-of-way guidance for uphill runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
