Stately Trails: Forcett Park

Stately Trails: Forcett Park is a trail running and walking event held within the historic Forcett Park estate. The course features a two lap layout that takes participants through parkland, pasture fields, farm tracks, and woodland. The terrain consists of gentle trails, though ground conditions can be muddy depending on the weather.

The event route passes several historical landmarks. These include ancient Iron Age fortifications connected to Stanwick Camp, a wall used for musket training during the Civil War, and a Georgian grotto. Participants can choose between three different event options:

  • 5 km run (minimum age 13)
  • 5 km walk (minimum age 13)
  • 10 km run (minimum age 16)

The courses are fully marked, and the event providing access to this exclusive estate includes on-site car parking. Every entrant is offered finishers' food, with options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets available if requested during the registration process. Spectators may also order additional food. While standard entries include the race experience and food, an optional coaster-medal is available for purchase as an add-on. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
