Event overview
Stately Trails: Forcett Park takes place on 18 June 2026 at Forcett Hall / Forcett Park in North Yorkshire. The event offers lapped trail options of 5 km and 10 km. Walkers may enter the 5 km category. The event is scheduled for the evening and is expected to finish during daylight hours. Entrant limit is 200. Age limits are 13 or older for the 5 km and 16 or older for the 10 km.
Course and logistics
The course is a 5 km loop with an option to run two loops for the 10 km. Runners pass estate features including an Iron Age boundary, a civil war musket training wall, and a Georgian grotto. Terrain includes gentle trails across pasture fields, farm tracks and woodland. The organiser describes the course as fairly flat by their standards but notes it may be muddy and uneven in places; trail shoes are recommended. Poles are banned.
The course will be marked with orange barrier tape, pin flags and coloured arrow signs; critical turns and road crossings will be manned by marshals. There will be one water station for 10 km runners at the start of the second lap; water is provided to 5 km runners at the finish. On-site parking, toilets at Race HQ and registration near the parking field are provided. Finish food options are available and an optional coaster-medal can be added for £3.50.
