Stars, Stripes & Strides 5K : Versailles, Kentucky
The event is an inaugural community running day held on June 27, 2026 at the Woodford County Farmers Market Pavilion, 105 Rose Hill Avenue, Versailles, KY 40383, United States. The main event is a chip timed 5K covering 3.1 miles on paved trail and roadway surfaces. Awards are given to the Top 3 male and female overall finishers and to the Top 3 male and female finishers in 10 year age divisions. Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative short sleeved poly cotton race T shirt while supplies last. A free Kid's Dash is offered for children 9 and under. The Kid's Dash is an untimed, non competitive 200 yard run or walk; each child receives a participation medal. Parents may add a commemorative shirt in youth or adult sizes for a $10 add on.
The event includes free race photos, social team entries with a prize for the largest team, evening food and music, and convenient evening packet pickup. Volunteers are requested; organizers seek six to eight volunteers to work a three hour race day shift. Volunteers who complete a full shift receive a commemorative race T shirt. Volunteer tasks include packet pickup and check in, food and drink support, water stop, course marshal duties and event cleanup.
