Stars & Stripes 2026, Todos Santos Plaza, Concord CA
Stars & Stripes 2026 is a community running event held on July 4, 2026 at Todos Santos Plaza in Concord, California. The program includes a timed 5K run and walk, a free kids fun run for children aged 10 and under, and a virtual runner option. The kids fun run provides a free race bib and a finisher medal.
All participants on the course must wear a race bib visible on the front of the body. No bikes, scooters, skates, or skateboards are allowed on the course. There are two water stops or aid stations located on the course at miles 1 and 2. Post-race provisions include bottled water and a selection of post-race snacks.
Finishers receive medals and the 5K features custom age group medals in five year divisions. Part of the race proceeds benefit Ainsley’s Angels and their mission to provide race chairs for people with disabilities. The Concord-Diablo Rotary Club will offer a pancake breakfast for a fee.
The event takes place in conjunction with Concord’s Fourth of July activities and is followed by the city parade, which features floats, bands, equestrian groups, and dance teams.
