The 16th annual Star Valley Half Marathon and 5K takes place on July 11, 2026 in Afton, Wyoming. The event lists a start area at the Heiner Family airfield in Turnerville and a finish at the elementary school in Thayne. The half marathon course goes south for two miles from the airfield, then turns and heads north as it winds through the rolling farm lands of Turnerville and Bedford before ending in Thayne at the elementary school. A Free Kids Fun Run is held the morning of the race at the half marathon finish line in Thayne.
