The Sandusky County Jingle Bell Jog
The Sandusky County Jingle Bell Jog is a holiday-themed 5K run and walk held on December 5, 2026 at the Rotary Lodge / Don Miller Park in Fremont, Ohio. Entry for the 5K is by donation of a new, unwrapped toy or nonperishable food items or personal hygiene products. Toys will be distributed to local holiday assistance programs and food and hygiene items will be delivered to county food pantries and homeless shelters.
Special event shirts are available by pre-order for $15.00; a limited supply of shirts will be available on the day of the event. Proceeds from shirt sales will be donated to Share and Care and Pontifex.
There are no traditional age-group awards. Instead, special awards will be given for the Youth Boy and Girl and the Adult Male and Female in the categories of Ugliest Christmas Sweater and Most Festive Outfit.
Post-race refreshments provided at the Rotary Lodge include coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and donuts.
Registration opens June 18, 2026 and closes November 29, 2026. The event is sponsored by Sandusky County elected officials and departments, the Sandusky County Park District, the Fremont Rotary Club, the Sandusky County Communities Foundation and the Sandusky County Visitors Bureau.
