Stansted House Trail Run
The Stansted House Trail Run takes place within Stansted Park at Rowlands Castle in Hampshire. The routes run through woodland, open fields and farmland with views across the South Downs and the historic Stansted House. Runners may encounter local wildlife such as deer and woodland birds, and parts of the course pass through areas with wildflowers and rolling hills.
Distances include:
- 21.4k Half Marathon
- 16.1k Medium route
- 10k Short route
Elevation gain is listed for each distance, roughly +269 m for the half, +177 m for the 16.1k and +116 m for the 10k. The course is fully signed and marked with pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. GPX route files and route maps are available.
Event services include chip timing, on-course refreshments and water stations, first aid cover, course marshals and an event photographer. Every finisher receives a high-quality metal medal, a finisher goodie, a refreshing drink and a personalised certificate. The event operates a plastic free policy for water stations; participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle.
