Stansted House Trail Run
Set within the grounds of Stansted Park in Rowlands Castle, Hampshire, this trail event passes through woodland, open countryside and fields with wildflowers. The historic Stansted House forms a visible backdrop at points along the route. The setting sits within South Downs scenery with rolling hills and patches of woodland where deer and various birds may be seen.
Distances offered include:
- 21.4 km half marathon route
- 16.1 km trail run
- 10.0 km trail run
The trails are mostly wide and runnable with gently rolling inclines and good footing. Reported elevation gain for the routes is 269 m for the 21.4 km, 177 m for the 16.1 km and 116 m for the 10.0 km. Course signage uses pink arrows and pink tape, and hazards or road junctions are marked with caution signs.
Entries are chip timed. Every finisher receives a high-quality metal medal, a finisher goodie, a refreshing drink and a personalised certificate. The event provides first aid cover, on-course refreshments and water stations, with marshals positioned on route. Dogs are not allowed on the event site.
