Stanley Park 10k, Blackpool
The event is a 10 km road race on a double-loop course that circles Stanley Park. The course is accurately measured, flat, and follows the park paths used by the Autumn Breaker 10k. The two-lap layout keeps most activity inside the park and is suitable for spectators to remain near the route.
The event is UKA licensed and uses chip timing. Facilities include race HQ near the Skate Park and football pitches with clear signage, toilets plus changing and showering at the stadium and adjacent Sports Centre, vending machines, and a park cafe. Portable toilets are provided at Race HQ. A fully staffed water station supplies 500 ml bottled water at the halfway point with disposal bins about 100 metres later; water is also available at the finish.
Entry is open to anyone aged over 15 on race day. Entries are accepted online only; postal entries are not accepted. Standard entry fee is £25.00 with a reduced fee of £23.00 for UKA or ARC club members. Commemorative tech t-shirts are available for £10 for collection on event day. There may be limited entries on the day at an additional £5 charge.
Bib numbers are collected on race day from the venue; registration for collection opens at 9.00am. All finishers receive a commemorative medal plus drinks and snacks. Individual prizes are awarded for the top three men and top three ladies and for first male and female in each veteran category. Prize winners receive vouchers by email after the event.
