The Stafford Hospital Spring Fever 5K and Kids 1/2-mile Fun Run takes place on April 11, 2026, on the campus of Stafford Hospital in Stafford, VA. Entry fees listed in the event information are $35 for the 5K and $20 for the kids run; fees increase after March 23, 2026. The 5K is open to ages 5 and older; the kids run is open to ages 12 and under.
Course and awards
Both race courses are USATF certified and start and finish at Stafford Hospital. The 5K awards the overall top three males and females and the top three in standard age-group divisions. The kids run awards the overall top three males and females 12 and younger; participating children receive a finisher medal.
Logistics and rules
Packet pickup is available on two days before the race and at the registration table on race day; shirts are provided to participants who register by March 16. Parking at the event location is free. There is one water station on course; additional water is available at the snack station. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Headphones and earbuds are discouraged because the course is not fully closed to traffic. Baby joggers are permitted and must start at the back.
