Stafford Hospital Spring Fever 5K and Kids 1/2-mile Fun Run
The Stafford Hospital Spring Fever event takes place on April 11, 2026, on the campus of Stafford Hospital at the Stafford Medical Pavilion, 125 Hospital Center Boulevard, Stafford, VA 22554. The event includes both an adult 5K run/walk and a children’s half mile fun run.

The race is part of the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix, a regional series of twelve races, and the Stafford Race Series, a set of five races that promote community engagement and wellness. Race proceeds benefit Stafford Hospital and support programs and services that relate to the hospital mission to improve community health.
Both courses are USATF certified and start and finish at Stafford Hospital. The 5K offers awards to the overall top three male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups; the kids run awards the overall top three male and female participants age 12 and under and provides finisher medals to children. Specific registration options exist for Stafford school employees and Stafford county employees.
Event policies note that unregistered runners, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and dogs are prohibited on course. The course is not fully closed to traffic and headphones are discouraged for safety. Packet pickup is available in the days before the event at Stafford Hospital and at Lucky Road in Central Park; shirts are available for participants who register by March 16 and packets are not mailed.
