St Valentine's 30k

St Valentine’s 30k is the Stamford Striders’ flagship club race, staged at Stamford Welland Academy, PE9 1HE. The 30-kilometre course is renowned as a tough training race for spring marathons, with enthusiastic marshals and efficient organisation guiding runners around a testing route. The club highlights a contour map and a runners-for-runners atmosphere.

The 2026 edition marks the 32nd running. No on-the-day entries are possible, but a transfer system lets you move your place. An option to donate to Trees Not Tees replaces shirts, and there are Valentine Pair prizes.

Entry fees are £37-£39 for UKA members and non-members. It is nationally recognized as a tough test. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
