St Valentine's 30k
St Valentine's 30k is a club road race organised by Stamford Striders and scheduled for 14 February 2027 at Stamford Welland Academy. The 2027 event will be the 33rd running of the race. The course is described as testing and the race has been used as a training event for spring marathons. The race distance is 30 km and entrants must be 18 years or older on the event date.
Entries are not yet open and there will be no entries on the day. Entries are scheduled to close on Friday 12 February 2027 at 16:00. The organiser applies a no refunds policy, but provides a transfer system to move a place to another runner or to someone on the waiting list. There is also an option to purchase event insurance through the entry process.
Participants can choose a race shirt or select a charity option called Trees Not Tees to fund tree planting instead of receiving a shirt; it is possible to choose both a shirt and a tree donation. Shirts use an athletic fit and tend to come up small; the organiser suggests sizing up and gives guidance for ladies sizes S (UK 6-8) and M (UK 10-12). A Valentine Pair registration option is available for two runners who wish to register together; this includes a box of chocolates and the possibility of a couples prize.
