Event details
St Valentine's 30k is a club road race organised by Stamford Striders. The event is scheduled for 15 February 2026 and will be the 32nd running. The race distance is 30 km and the venue is Stamford Welland Academy, PE9 1HE. The organiser describes the course as testing and notes the use of marshals and an established event organisation. The event is run each year on the Sunday closest to St Valentine’s Day and is recognised nationally as a training race for spring marathons.
Entries, fees and policies
Entries open on 15 August 2025 and close on 13 February 2026. Minimum entry age is 18 years. Entry fees are UKA members £37.00 and non-members £39.00. There are no entries on the day. The event has a no refunds policy; a transfer system is available to move a place to another runner or to someone on the waiting list. Participants may buy optional race-entry insurance (XCover). Runners can choose a "Trees Not Tees" option to contribute to a tree-planting scheme instead of receiving a race shirt. Race shirts come from a new athletic-fit supplier and are reported to run small; suggested ladies sizing is S = UK 6-8 and M = UK 10-12.
