St Valentine's 30k
The Stamford Striders' St Valentine 30K is a club race held on 15 February 2026 at Stamford Welland Academy, PE9 1HE. The event is the 32nd running of the race and is organised by Stamford Striders.
The event distance is 30 km. Entry is restricted to participants aged 18 or older. Entry fees are listed as £37 for UKA members and £39 for non members. Entries open on 15 August 2025 and close on 13 February 2026. There are no on the day entries.
The race is described as a testing course recognised nationally and is presented as a useful training race for spring marathons. The organiser highlights enthusiastic marshals and efficient organisation.
The race operates a no refunds policy for cancellations. A transfer system is available to move a place to another runner or to someone on the waiting list. Participants may choose to purchase XCover to seek a refund in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Runners may opt for a Trees Not Tees donation instead of receiving a race shirt. The event will use a new athletic fit shirt that runs small and organisers advise sizing up; suggested ladies sizing is S = UK 6-8 and M = UK 10-12. There is also an option to register as a Valentine Pair; paired entrants may receive a box of chocolates and be eligible for a couple’s prize.
