St Valentine's 30k is an annual club road race organised by Stamford Striders. The 2026 race takes place on Sunday 15 February 2026 and will be the 32nd running. The course is described by the organisers as testing and marshals and race organisation are highlighted. Distance: 30k. The event is held at Stamford Welland Academy, PE9 1HE.
The race is run each year on the Sunday closest to St Valentine’s Day and is described as a training race for those planning a spring marathon.
Entry, fees and policies
Entries for the 2026 event open 15 August 2025 and close 13 February 2026. Minimum age on the event date is 18. Entry fees are listed as UKA Member £37.00 and Non Member £39.00. The organisers state there will be no entries on the day and expect the event to sell out.
The event operates a no refunds policy for cancellations, with a transfer system to move a place to another runner or someone on the waiting list. Participants may purchase XCover for possible refunds for unforeseen circumstances. Runners may opt for "Trees Not Tees" instead of a race shirt; the supplied shirts are athletic fit and organisers advise sizing up.
