St Valentine's 30k
The St Valentine’s 30K is a club race organised by Stamford Striders and scheduled for 14 February 2027 at Stamford Welland Academy (PE9 1HE). The event covers a 30 kilometre road course that the organisers describe as testing and which is used by some runners as a spring marathon training race.
Entries are not yet open. There are no entries on the day and the organisers note the race may sell out before the end of 2026. The minimum age to enter is 18 years or older.
The event offers a charity option called Trees Not Tees in place of a race shirt; runners may also choose both a shirt and to plant a tree. Shirts are athletic fit and the organisers advise ordering a larger size than usual, with ladies sizing guidance provided.
The race operates a no refunds policy; however, an efficient transfer system exists to move a place to another runner or to someone on a waiting list. There is an option to purchase event insurance via XCover as part of the entry process.
There is also a Valentine Pair entry category for two runners who register together. Registered pairs may receive a box of chocolates and be eligible for a couple’s prize based on combined times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
