Dirt Run Winter Trail Series
The Dirt Run Winter Trail Series is a two-race winter trail challenge held in Northamptonshire in 2027. It comprises Round 1 at Irchester Country Park on Sunday 24 January 2027 and Round 2 at Brigstock Country Park on Sunday 21 February 2027.
Round 1 at Irchester Country Park returns in an uphill format and runs in the opposite direction to 2025. The route is a varied multi-terrain course through Jurassic landscape. For 10K and 15K runners an additional trail section is included on later laps to add variety.
- 5K - 1 lap - £19.00
- 10K - 2 laps - £24.00
- 15K - 3 laps - £26.00
Round 2 at Brigstock Country Park features an out-and-back 7.5K and an extended 15K route that runs out towards Wadenhoe. The course passes Lyveden New Bield, an Elizabethan lodge set within countryside.

- 15K - extended route - £26.00
Runners receive a custom finisher medal for each round, with a different design and ribbon colour by distance. Trail shoes are strongly recommended. Toilets are available at both venues and parking is available; park websites should be checked for any current charges and cash may be required for some services.
