Run for Cake - Ferry Meadows
Run for Cake is a lap-based timed running event held at Ferry Meadows in Nene Park, Peterborough. The event is offered in two formats, a six hour option and a four hour option, during which participants run repeated laps on the same course. The loop is 5.3 km and runs through forested sections using gravel footpaths and some grass, creating a multi-terrain route. Runners may stop between laps and continue as they choose.

- Heavy half marathon as a standard of 5 laps with on-the-day increase possible.
- Ultra marathon as a standard of 9 laps with the option to increase up to 12.
Race HQ and logistics are located at the start and lap point where an aid station is available each lap. Registration is signposted near the main toilet block and the start arch and gazebos are visible from the parking and payment machines. Parking at the park is chargeable. Organisers suggest road trainers for most conditions, with trail shoes optional depending on weather. A bespoke event medal is provided at the finish unless a non-specific finisher medal option was chosen. Virtual entries are available for those who want a medal but cannot attend.
