Run for Cake - Ferry Meadows
Run for Cake is a timed loop event held at Ferry Meadows, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU. The event offers a six hour option or a four hour option; participants run repeated laps of a 5.3 km loop through forest and parkland. The course uses gravel footpaths and some grass areas, making it a mixed terrain route.

The organisers provide bespoke event medals and a lucky-dip finisher medal option. Virtual places are available for those who want a medal but cannot attend in person. The event operates a cupless policy, so participants need a personal bottle or cup for refilling.
Typical lap counts given as examples are:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
- Full marathon
- Ultramarathon
A half marathon is typically five laps with options to change the lap count on the day.
