St Stans Road Race 5k
The St Stans Road Race 5k is a sporting event held in Bay City, Michigan, at the St. Stan's Athletic Club complex. The event takes place on a paved course and offers two primary participation options:
- 5k Run (3.1 miles)
- 5k Walk (3.1 miles)
The 5k Run is intended for participants who plan to run or utilize a run-walk method, while the 5k Walk is reserved specifically for walkers. The event is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with results provided live online and via text message as participants cross the finish line.
Registered participants receive a t-shirt, a finisher's medal, one admission ticket to the Polish Festival, and one drink ticket. T-shirts are available in adult sizes ranging from Small to 3XL. Awards are presented in the entertainment tent following the conclusion of the events. For the run, awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and within various age categories ranging from 14 and under to 60 and over. For the walk, awards are provided to the top five male and female finishers overall.
On-site facilities are limited to portable restrooms, and participants are encouraged to arrive dressed for the competition. Packet pick-up is located in the Bingo tent on Lincoln Street, across from the water tower. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
