About the race
The 12th Annual St. Peter Spooktacular takes place on October 31, 2026 in Huron, Ohio. The event center is on Main Street at St. Peter's Catholic Church and the event benefits the students of St. Peter School; 100% of funds raised go to the school.

The 5K begins on Main Street in front of St. Peter's Catholic Church and runs the streets of Huron. The course is described as relatively flat and includes sidewalks for walkers. The route passes through the neighborhood of Oklahoma and along Cleveland Road West and the Old Plat. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories from age 8 and under through 70 and over. Registration fees are listed at $20.00 for the 5K.
The Kids Pumpkin Fun Run follows the 5K and begins in front of St. Peter School on Huron Street. The kids route is one lap around the Huron/Main Street block, described in the event details as turning on Mill Street, passing in front of Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop on Main Street, continuing on Cleveland Road East, and returning on Huron Street to the parking lot entrance. The kids run is approximately 1/2 mile and all participants receive a candy treat bag. Participants and spectators are encouraged to dress in costume.
