Earth Day 5K - Oberlin
The Earth Day 5K Run promotes celebration of the environment, good health and service to the community. The event is a 5K race, listed as 3.1 miles, that starts and finishes on Tappan Square in Oberlin.
The organizer provides a route map and a street map for the course. Entry fees are $20 per person for those who pre-register by Monday, April 13 and $25 per person for day of race registration. T-shirts are available to the first 100 registrants while supplies last. Awards are given in all divisions, including overall first place male and female and first, second and third place in each age division. The event is open to all ages.
Age divisions run from 10 and under through 70 and over, with intermediate brackets such as 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24 and continuing in five year increments up to 70 and over. The listed date for the 2026 run is Saturday, April 18; tentative future dates are provided for 2027 and 2028.
