St. Petersburg Marathon
The St. Petersburg Marathon is a USATF certified race (FL19019TY) and a Boston Qualifier held in St. Petersburg, Florida. The event is scheduled for Sun. Feb. 7, 2027 and includes multiple race options.
The course begins and ends at North Shore Park on the downtown waterfront. Runners pass through Snell Isle and Coffee Pot Bayou, run along the waterfront and downtown streets, circle Mirror Lake, and follow the Pinellas Trail west toward a turnaround near Tyrone Mall before returning to the waterfront. The route includes one small bridge into Snell Isle and two overpasses on the Pinellas Trail that are crossed twice. The course is described as mostly flat and has been accurately measured.
On-course support includes multiple aid stations and live musicians along the route. A post-race awards ceremony features live music, food, and beverages. Parking close to the marathon finish is reserved for marathon participants. Pacers are provided for the marathon and half marathon by Beast Pacing with available target times including 3:40, 3:50, 4:00, 4:20, 4:35, 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00; additional pace slots were listed as waiting to fill.
