St. Pete Beach Classic
The St. Pete Beach Classic is scheduled for January 16-17, 2027. The 2027 event marks the 20th year and will limit the total number of participants; it is presented as a final edition of the event.
Races take place on St. Pete Beach and nearby island neighborhoods. Event entries include multiple road races with coastal and beach views along the course. Race formats and notable course details reported for 2027 include a flat road 5K along the Gulf shoreline and a half marathon that runs the entire length of the island from Pass-A-Grille to the North Beach neighborhood.
Distances and formats
- 5K: flat road course along the Gulf
- 10K: morning race with beach and sunrise views
- Half Marathon: full length of the island route
- 5K and 10K Challenge: 10K then 5K, two post race parties, three medals
Additional offerings described for the weekend include a Super 3 Distance Challenge that covers all four races over two days totaling 22.6 miles, and Synovus Kids' Races, free and offered in three distances for children aged 8 and younger.
