St. Pete Beach Classic 2027
The St. Pete Beach Classic is scheduled for January 16–17, 2027 on St. Pete Beach, Florida. Organizers present the 2027 edition as a limited capacity event marking the 20th year and as a final opportunity described as the last running of the Classic.
The weekend program includes these races:
- 5K (Wendy Johnson 5K)
- 10K (Al Johnson 10K)
- Half Marathon
- 5K and 10K Challenge
- Super 3 Distance Challenge (all four races over two days, total 22.6 miles)
- Synovus Kids' Races, free, three distances for children aged 8 and younger
Course notes provided by the event note that the 5K is a fast, flat road course with a Gulf breeze and the 10K features sunrise and beach views. The half marathon route runs the length of the island from historic Pass A Grille to the North Beach neighborhood. The 5K and 10K challenge consists of two races with separate post race parties and multiple medals; the Super 3 Challenge awards medals for completing all designated races.
A room block is available at Sirata Beach Resort for the event with a booking cutoff of December 14, 2026; unused rooms in the block will be released after that date. At check in, a hold is placed on debit or credit cards for room charges, resort fees, and a required incidental deposit of $50 per day; the incidental deposit may be paid in cash and may take up to ten business days after departure to be released by the bank.
