The St. Paul Strassenlauf is the 43rd annual running of this community event, taking place as part of St. Paul's Kirchenfest celebration. The event offers timed races over three distances: a 2k, a 5k, and a 10k.

The 5k and 10k races begin first, followed later by the 2k. Registration is open from January until the event date. A moisture-wicking performance shirt is guaranteed for those who register by August 7th, with limited quantities available after that date. Prices increase after August 8th.
Awards & Post-Race
A comprehensive awards structure is in place. Top overall and masters finishers (age 40+) in the 5k and 10k receive plaques. Age group winners in these distances receive custom-cast medallions. All 2k finishers aged 12 and under receive a finisher medal, with top overall winners getting plaques. After the race, beverages are available, and a Bavarian Skillet breakfast can be purchased.
Logistics
The event is based at St. Paul Catholic Church on Main Street in Highland, Illinois. Early packet pickup is available at the church on the Friday evening before the race. Race day packet pickup begins on Saturday morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
