About the race
The St. Paul 5K, 1 Mile Color Run, and Family Fun Day is a single-day community event on October 10, 2026, at the WakeMed Cross Country Course, 201 Soccer Park Drive, Cary, NC 27511. The event is presented by St. Paul American Coptic Orthodox Church and combines a timed 5K Run/Walk, an all-ages color run, and a family activity program.
Available distances and formats:
- 5K Run/Walk with an included 1 mile color run option
- 1 Mile Color Run for ages 5 and older
- T-Shirt and Family Day Admission for non-runners
Registration opens April 1, 2026. Early registration for the 5K Run/Walk and the 1 Mile Color Run closes June 1, 2026; family-day admission registration remains open through October 10, 2026. Published registration fees are $45.00 for the 5K Run/Walk (which includes the 1 mile color run), $35.00 for the 1 mile color run, and $30.00 for T-shirt and family-day admission without run registration.
5K registration includes a shirt, bib, a finisher medal for the 5K, and post-run refreshments; awards are listed for top male and female runners by age bracket. The family program includes bouncy houses, food trucks, face painting, yard games, volleyball, a 100-meter dash, childcare for registered runners, and supplemental services such as a complementary stretch session.
