Event

The St. Pats timed trail races take place on October 17, 2026, at St. Patrick's County Park in South Bend, Indiana (50651 Laurel Road). The event offers two time-based race options:

24 Hour
12 Hour

Proceeds from the event are donated to the ALS community. Registration closes on October 13, 2026.

Course and logistics

Runners use the park’s scenic trails, with most of the loop on dirt and grass surfaces and three short crossings on asphalt. During the final 30 minutes of each timed race there is an optional 0.25 mile out-and-back segment that participants may run if they choose to continue. The park provides amenities that allow participants to stay overnight, shower, and eat on site, and to shelter from the elements. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
