Event Details
The St. Patrick's Trek is a trail running event scheduled for March 14, 2026. It takes place at Herman Baker Park on Herman Baker Lake Trail in Sherman, Texas.

The event offers two race distances:
- 10 km St. Patrick's Trek
- 5 km St. Patrick's Trek
Course and Logistics
The course consists of technical rock and dirt single-track trails, which are rocky and rooty, and includes bridges. There is slight elevation per loop. The event is a cupless race, so participants must bring their own cup or bottle. Parking is available in the main lot, with overflow parking on Center Street.
Participant Inclusions
All finishers receive a St. Patrick's Trek stainless steel bottle. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall for men and women, for the first-place man and woman aged 50+ (Old Timer), and a DFL "Dead Freakin' Last" award. The race provides an aid station with hydration and snacks, photography, and a fully marked and supported course.
Registration
Registration closes the day before the race or when participant capacity reaches 100. There is no race day registration. Prices for the 5 km start at $30 and increase on February 1 and March 1. Prices for the 10 km start at $40 and increase on the same dates. The organizer does not offer full refunds but provides race credits with a minimum 30-day notice of cancellation.
