Little Big Town 5K and Family Fun Run

The Little Big Town event is a community running event hosted by the Van Alstyne Education Foundation at Van Alstyne High School, 700 Collin McKinney Parkway, Van Alstyne, Texas. The event includes a 5K race and a 1 mile family fun run, plus an additional fundraising activity listed as Race from Bed Donation to VAEF.

Registration details vary by event. Registration opens May 13, 2026 for the listed events; some registrations close February 28, 2027 while one registration closes May 2, 2027. Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K, $20 for the 1 mile fun run, and $25 for the donation race. Entry fees are non-refundable, including in the event of inclement weather; if cancellation occurs an entry fee will be considered a donation to VAEF. Packet pick up is available at the Central Social District, 215 E Van Alstyne Parkway, and also on the morning of the event by the starting line. T-shirts and medals will not be mailed to registrants who do not attend. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after April 25th.
