Runners receive one glass of beer from Port City Brewing, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. The event is part of several series and points count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Back of the Pack Series, and the Sippin Series.

The course is described as fairly flat and paved, with a short light gravel section on the out-and-back at the beginning. The 10k uses the out-and-back route twice. There are five water stations on the 10k at approximately miles 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, and 5.2, and two water stations on the 5k at approximately miles 1 and 2.1; Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located in Port City Brewing.

Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age categories from 19 and under through 70 plus. The race benefits Warriors Ethos, an organization that supports service members, veterans, their spouses, and caregivers with career planning and placement.

Registration fees vary by distance and by date, with early registration pricing listed through February 28 and a shirt guarantee for registrations made before March 4. Final race results with series points are posted after the event and live results are available during the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
