Event Overview
The St. Patrick’s Day Sprint Triathlon is the 16th annual edition of this event. It takes place in Keller, Texas at the Keller Natatorium.
Course Details
The event offers two triathlon formats. Both share the same swim and run segments but have different bike courses.
- Sprint Option: Features a 300-meter pool swim (in 50-meter, 9-foot-wide lanes), a 14.5-mile bike ride on a three-loop course, and a 5K run.
- Super Sprint Option: Features a 300-meter pool swim, a 10-mile bike ride on a two-loop course, and a 5K run.
The run course is an out-and-back path on wooded trails near Keller. The transition area is located in the parking lot adjacent to the natatorium.
Participant Information
All registered participants receive a technical shirt. All finishers receive a medal. The event includes post-race entertainment. The race is a USAT-sanctioned event, requiring either a USAT membership or a one-day permit for competitors.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on multiple days before the event at specified locations in Dallas, Richardson, and Keller. Race day packet pickup has specific restrictions.
