The St. Patrick’s Day Sprint Tri takes place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Keller Natatorium, 1000 Bear Creek Pkwy, Keller, TX 76248. This is the event's 16th edition. The race is USAT sanctioned and organized by Dallas Athletes Racing. Bear Creek Running Company is listed as a title sponsor.
Course and distances
The swim is a pool swim using 50-meter lanes that are 9 ft wide. The run is an out-and-back on a wooded trail. Bike courses use looped road circuits (two or three loops).
- Super Sprint - Swim: 300 meters; Bike: 10 miles; Run: 5K
- Sprint - Swim: 300 meters; Bike: 14.5 miles; Run: 5K
Logistics, rules and awards
Transition is in the parking lot adjacent to the natatorium; helmets and bikes are inspected on entry and competitors are body marked. Packet pickup is scheduled on March 4 (2-6pm, TBD), March 5 (2-6pm at Bike Mart, 1451 W Campbell Rd, Richardson, TX), and March 7 (12-4pm at Bear Creek Running Co., 121 Rufe Snow Dr, Keller, TX). Competitors must be current USAT members or purchase a one-day USAT permit. Photo ID is required and adult competitors must pick up their own packet. There is a no refund and no transfer policy. Awards are given three deep per age group and include Athena and Clydesdale divisions; winners must pick up awards in person. In inclement weather the director may delay the event up to one hour, shorten or alter the course, or cancel the event for safety. Parking is available within walking distance of the site.
