The Original St. Patrick's Day Road Race
The event takes place on March 15, 2026, at Central Memorial High School in Calgary, Alberta. Participants can choose between two distances: 5 km and 10 km.
This is the 39th annual edition of the race. It is organized by the Calgary Road Runners and supports Diabetes Canada through fundraising. The event typically attracts over 1000 participants.
All finishers have the option to receive a medal. After the race, there is a meal, and participants can enjoy pizza and beer. Race package pickup is available on March 12 and 13 at Strides Marda Loop, and on March 14 at Strides Fish Creek. Out-of-town participants can pick up their packages on race day at Central Memorial High School. Online registration closes on March 11, 2026.
