The St. Patrick’s Day Dash is a family-friendly walk and run held along the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon. The event offers chip timed race options and informal walking choices, and it takes place rain or shine.
Participants can choose from these course options:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1.5 mile
The event includes costume contests with categories such as Best Wearin’ o the Green, One Lucky Couple, and Cutest Little Leprechaun. Prizes are also awarded to the fastest male, female, and youth finishers in both the 10K and 5K events. A Post Dash Bash follows the courses and features local food vendors, craft beverages, live bagpipers, and family-oriented activities.
Proceeds support a local charity each year. The program competes regionally and provides community service including parades, veteran tributes, and nonprofit support.
