St. Patrick's Day 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk
The 15th annual St. Patrick's Day 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk takes place on Main Street in downtown Livingston. This event serves as the third race in the 12-part 2026 County-wide Stride race series. All proceeds from the event support the Miracle Fund, which benefits long-term care residents at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital Respiratory Care Center.
Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5 km run
- 2 mile walk
The run is chip timed for all participants. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female walkers. Age group awards are also available for runners in categories ranging from 12 and under to 80 and over.
Through the Student Strides program, students aged 4-18 may participate at no cost. While the student registration does not include a shirt, participants in this category who complete at least seven races in the series qualify for a gift card and a custom t-shirt at the end of the year. Adult registration includes a custom t-shirt, though quantities for those registering after early March may be limited based on available inventory.
