St. Patrick's Day 4 Mile, Binghamton
The St. Patrick's Day 4 mile is the 24th annual road race held in Binghamton on March 14, 2026. The event takes place at 9 Leroy Street, Binghamton, NY 13905, and follows a 4 mile course. For many years the race marks a local tradition that helps support community programs.
Net race proceeds over the past ten years have totaled approximately $40,000 and are used to support the community outreach programs of St. Patrick's Church. Those outreach efforts provide food, clothing and showers to people in need, with volunteers led by St. Patrick's Church in Binghamton.
This year’s ticket options include a VIP Ticket (includes registration, full swag package and the post-race party), a Lite Ticket (registration and post-race party, no swag), a City of Binghamton Fire versus Police Departments Challenge (includes registration, full swag and post-race party), and a Student Ticket for non-college students (discounted, includes registration, full swag and post-race party). Registration for swag closes at midnight on February 22; online registration remains open until March 9 and race day registration will be available.
Awards are offered to overall finishers and masters with monetary prizes and hoodies for top finishers. Hoodies and pastry treats are awarded within 10-year age groups. The post-race party features Irish fare, pizza, Guinness and live piping by the BC Celtic Pipe and Drum band. Swag includes a long sleeve cotton T-shirt with a new race logo.
