St. Paddy's Day 3.1 Beer Run
St. Paddy's Day 3.1 Beer Run is a 5k held in downtown Piqua with a loop course. Participants can choose between the main event, which includes drinking beer or root beer at stops roughly every mile, and a non competitive division in which participants run the same course without the drinking requirement. Crooked Handle Brewery is the official beer sponsor for 2026. The event lists competitive prizes and door prizes.
Registration used tiered pricing based on the order of registration: the first 100 entries received a reduced fee of $30, entries 101 to 250 were set at $35, entries 251 to 450 at $40, and registrations after 450 at $45. A family and friends discount applies when three or more people register in one transaction, reducing the fee by $5 per participant. Participants could opt out of a shirt for an additional discount during early registration. Entries before February 1, 2026 received a collectors shot glass and entries before March 3, 2026 received a t shirt.
Packet pickup and final registration were available at Can't Stop Running Co on March 15 and March 16, 2026, and at the event in Piqua on March 17, 2026.
