St. Michael Daze and Knights 5k and Youth Color Daze Run
The St. Michael Daze and Knights 5k and Youth Color Daze Run takes place in Saint Michael, Minnesota. This event is part of the community's Daze and Knights weekend festivities. The event offers two distinct distances:
- 5k
- 1/2 mile Youth Color Run
The 5k event is chip timed, utilizing a gun start and a chip finish. The course begins at the St. Michael Town Center and travels east through local streets. Participants spend the latter half of the route on Frankfurt Parkway before finishing near the original starting point. Registration is open to various participants, including those running competitively, people pushing strollers, and those running with dogs. T-shirts are provided to 5k participants who register by the specified July deadline, with additional shirts subject to availability for later registrants.
The 1/2 mile Youth Color Daze Run is a separate event designed for younger participants. This race involves colored powder, providing a color run experience for those who wish to be covered in colorful dust. This event is scheduled to take place after the completion of the 5k.
