The St. Mary's Steps for Hope 5K Run/Walk and Kids Obstacle Course is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026. It takes place at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. The event features three separate activities:

• A Kids Obstacle Course for participants aged 12 and under.
• A 5K run.
• A 5K walk.

The obstacle course is a separate event from the run and walk.

Purpose

The event is a collaboration between St. Mary’s and Bates College. Its collective goal is to raise funds to expand spaces for behavioral health hospitalization and to bring awareness to mental health crises affecting youth and adults in Maine.
