Event overview
The St. Louis Triathlon takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Creve Coeur Park, 13725 Marine Avenue, Saint Louis, MO. The race is USAT sanctioned; athletes must be annual USA Triathlon members or purchase a one-day membership. Packet pickup and bike drop are scheduled the day before the race at the Lou Fusz Athletic Training Center and at Creve Coeur Park. Registration includes a race t-shirt, swim cap, finisher medal, live results, race photos, awards and a post-race festival with food, drinks and music. The event donates a portion of each entry to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Race distances and categories
- Sprint - 750 m swim / 20 km bike / 5 km run
- Olympic - 1 mile swim / 40 km bike / 10 km run
- Other events include sprint and Olympic aquabike, duathlon, aquathlon, relays, paratriathlon divisions, high school and collegiate categories, Athena/Clydesdale divisions, and a 6K run.
Logistics and rules
Course maps and turn-by-turn routes are provided for bike and run courses. Water and electrolyte drinks are available at aid stations on the run course; there are no aid stations on the bike course. Transition procedures require numbered wristbands, bike and helmet stickers, and timing chips. Cutoff rules apply to each discipline and all athletes are scored by age as of 12/31/2026 in standard five-year age groups. Management may modify or cancel the event for safety reasons; the race policy states there are no refunds and no inclement-weather makeup date.
