St. Louis Triathlon - State Championship Race
The Lou Fusz Subaru St. Louis Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned state championship event held at Creve Coeur Park in Maryland Heights on June 28, 2026. The event is organized in partnership with St. Louis County Parks, the City of Maryland Heights, and MoDOT. Packet pickup, the endurance expo, and bike drop take place the day before the race at the Lou Fusz Athletic Training Center and at Creve Coeur Park.
Race registration includes a race t-shirt, swim cap, finisher medal, drawstring bag, live results, race photos, awards for top finishers, and a finish line festival with food and music. A portion of entry fees supports the Wounded Warrior Project. All athletes must be USAT annual members or purchase a one-day USAT membership; proof of membership is required at packet pickup.
On race logistics, athletes receive a wristband to access transition and a timing chip to be worn on the left ankle. Bikes are racked by race number in alternating directions. Water and electrolyte drink are provided on the run course; there are no aid stations on the bike course. A bike mechanic and SAG vehicle will be available in transition and on course. Wetsuit use follows USAT temperature rules: legal at 78°F or below, optional 78–83.9°F with award and point restrictions, and prohibited at 83.9°F or above.
Awards include top overall and age group placings across divisions and top relay teams. The Elite Olympic wave offers prize money for the top three male and female finishers when entry requirements are met. Entry fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
