Event Details
The St. Gerard Faith Goes the Distance 5k takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The event includes a 5k Run/Walk and a Senior Rocking Chair activity, which occurs during the 5k. It takes place at 4437 W. Willow Hwy in Lansing, Michigan.
Registration and Fees
Standard entry is $25. The price increases to $30 after April 19, 2026. A family rate of $75 for four or more people is available until April 19, after which it increases to $90.
Packet Pickup
Early packet pickup is available on Friday, May 1, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Gerard Parish Center Rooms 135 & 137. Race day packet pickup begins at 8 AM in a tent outside Father Weber Hall. Registrations by April 19 guarantee a t-shirt, available in adult sizes Small through XXL and youth sizes L and XL.
Awards and Timing
Awards are given to the overall male and female winners. Additional awards are presented in multiple age categories: 9 and under; 10-12; 13-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and up. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with live results available during the event and online.
