Event Information
The St. Edward Spartan 5K Run & Walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. This is the event's third annual occurrence.
The event takes place at the Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area, specifically the Ensenada South Picnic Area in Fremont, California.
Race Details
The event features a 5 km route. The course is described as a scenic, mostly flat loop on packed gravel trails through Quarry Lakes Park. The distance is approximate and the course is not USATF-certified. Walkers and runners share the same trail. Bikes, skateboards, and scooters are not allowed on the course.
Participants of all ages are welcome. Family pricing is available, with separate fees for different age groups. Leashed dogs are permitted.
Activities and Amenities
A schedule of activities is provided for the event day. After the race, there is a planned picnic area with music, games, a raffle, and a silent auction. Pre-ordered lunches are available for pickup. Water stations are located near mile markers, and first aid is available. Restrooms are accessible in the park. Finisher medals are distributed after the race, subject to availability.
Proceeds from the event support St. Edward School, a registered nonprofit organization.

Registration includes potential items such as a commemorative t-shirt and a free parking pass, depending on the registration date.
