Event Details

The St. Clair River Run is the third annual edition of an event titled "Run the River." It takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, along the St. Clair River from Courtright to Port Lambton, Ontario. The event offers several distances: a Half Marathon, a 10 km, a 5 km, a 2.5 km, and a children's race, the Minnow Dash, which is approximately 200 meters long.

Practical Information

The run features a straight, picturesque course along the river. The Half Marathon goes from south Courtright to Port Lambton, the 10 km starts from north Sombra, and the 5 km begins just south of Sombra. The 2.5 km and Minnow Dash courses take place in Port Lambton.

Timing is provided via bib and chit. Participants receive goodies, and finisher medals are awarded for the Half Marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 2.5 km. Children in the Minnow Dash receive a ribbon.

Several services are offered: an organized pre-race warm-up at each start line, bus transportation, an awards ceremony, online and on-location results, and live music. Race packet pick-up is available both pre-event and on the same day.

Registration is online, with specific early bird and regular pricing available until May 30. Reduced-price registration is available for runners aged 13 and under for the 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
