St. Charles Blue Line Family 5K
The St. Charles Blue Line Family 5K takes place at 2002 Arena Parkway, Saint Charles, Missouri, on July 18, 2026. The event uses the Family Arena grounds and nearby trails and is presented as a family-friendly community running event.
The course is multi terrain and measures about 3.1 miles. Participants start in the Family Arena parking lot, loop around the venue lot, ascend stairs into the arena concourse for an indoor loop, exit back to the parking area, descend the stairs, then follow the Katy Trail for an out-and-back section before returning to the parking lot to finish. The route includes pavement, trail, stairs, and an indoor stadium concourse.
Additional on-site features accompany the running events. Food trucks and coffee trucks will be present, along with bounce houses, music, and live announcements as runners cross the line. The route design allows spectators to see runners at several points along the course rather than only at the start and finish.
The event also includes a separate 1 mile fun run for children; that running route also enters the Family Arena. Distinct timed 5K registration categories are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
