St. Charles Blue Line Family 5K
The St. Charles Blue Line Family 5K is held at the Family Arena complex at 2002 Arena Parkway, Saint Charles, MO. The event features a multi-terrain course that combines outdoor parking lot loops, stairs into and out of the arena, an indoor stadium concourse lap, and an out-and-back section on the Katy Trail. The route uses pavement, trail, stairs, and indoor concourse surfaces and returns to the original parking-lot finish.
The event program includes a separate one mile Fun Run for children that also enters the Family Arena. On site there are food trucks, coffee trucks, bounce houses, music, and live announcements as runners cross the finish line. Awards are presented to the top three female and top three male finishers in the timed 5K.
The course layout provides multiple viewing points around the arena and trail, allowing spectators to see runners at several locations beyond the start and finish lines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
