Pere Marquette Endurance Trail Run - December 13, 2025

The Pere Marquette Endurance Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Grafton, Illinois (13112 Visitors Center Lane, Grafton, IL 62037). The event is the 36th running of this trail race and features a single distance of 7.8 miles on park trails with hills and park scenery. The race is open to participants aged 14 and older. Entry fee is $60, with the price increasing after December 5, 2025.

Format, logistics and awards

Packet pickup and pre-race coffee are available in the Pere Marquette State Park lodge on race day, and post-race festivities and awards are held in the lodge. The race is intended to proceed in wet or wintry conditions - rain, sleet, snow, ice, mud or muck - unless the Park Service closes Pere Marquette State Park. If the park is closed for severe inclement weather or another unforeseen cause, the event will be canceled and no refunds or deferments will be offered. Awards include Male and Female Overall, Male and Female Masters (40+), and top three in age groups in five-year increments from 16 to the oldest finisher.
