St. Brigid Our Lady of Hope 5K Run/Walk - 2026
The St. Brigid Our Lady of Hope 5K Run/Walk is the ninth annual community race held on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School in Westbury, NY. All proceeds benefit the students of St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope School.
The event program includes a timed 5K Run/Walk and a separate Kids Fun Run for younger participants on the grass field. Registration categories include military/first responder, school teacher, youth (13 and under), adult, and a virtual 5K option. T-shirts are provided subject to availability and are shipped within the US only for mailed orders. Virtual participants may upload times and photos after the event window.
Course and logistics are described as a two-loop route through residential Westbury, with chip time start and lap time available. Packet pick-up and race-day pickup occur at the school gym. The front parking lot on St. Brigid Lane is closed during the event; alternative parking is available in the back lot on Drexel Ave or on nearby residential streets.
Awards include overall and age-group gift certificates, community-category awards for students, alumni, teachers, and parents, and a cash prize for new course records.
