St. Brigid Our Lady of Hope 5K Run/Walk - 2026
The St. Brigid / Our Lady of Hope 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held on November 28, 2026 at St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School in Westbury, NY. All proceeds benefit the students of St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope School.
The event includes a timed 5K Run/Walk, a Kids Fun Run held on the school grass field for children age 9 and under, and a Virtual 5K option. The 5K follows a two-loop course through residential Westbury, starting and finishing on St. Brigid Lane. Chip time start and lap timing are provided; one lap equals 1.55 miles.
Amenities and awards include race T-shirts (subject to availability), a finisher medal, post-race raffle entry for every bib, and awards for overall, age-group, community categories, and wheelchair athletes. A $100 cash prize is offered for a new course record. Post-race raffle prizes are provided by sponsors and exceed $2,000 in total value.
Packet pick-up is held at the school gym, and personalized bibs are available for participants who register three weeks in advance. The front parking lot on St. Brigid Lane is closed for the event; attendees are asked to use the back parking lot on Drexel Avenue or nearby residential parking.
Sponsorship levels of $250 or greater include a complimentary race entry and name recognition on the race T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
