Event
The St. Brigid / Our Lady of Hope School 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run is an annual community race held on Saturday, November 29. The event takes place at St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope Regional School, 101 Maple Avenue, Westbury, NY 11590. Proceeds benefit the students of St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope School.

Course and logistics
The 5K is a two-loop course on residential streets, starting and finishing on St. Brigid Lane. Chip time start and lap times are provided (one lap = 1.55 miles). Front parking on St. Brigid Lane is closed for the race; use the back parking lot on Drexel Avenue or residential street parking. Early packet pickup is available the day before the race at the school gym and packet pickup is available on race day.
Awards, raffle and amenities
Age-group awards are given for the top three men and women in standard age divisions. There are awards and special categories for students, alumni, teachers, parents/caregivers, and one wheelchair athlete. A cash prize is offered for a new course record. All 5K registrants are entered into a post-race raffle and winners must be present. Participants receive a race T-shirt if available and a finisher medal; post-race snacks are provided.
