St. Bernadette's Turkey Trot
St. Bernadette's 18th Annual Turkey Trot takes place at St. Bernadette School in Drexel Hill and is offered as both an in-person event and a virtual option during the week of November 21–28, 2026. Registered participants receive a commemorative 2026 Turkey Trot T-shirt; registration by November 8, 2026 guarantees a shirt for a family. If a child registers for the race or walk and the Dumpling Dash, only one shirt is issued.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K single-loop run or walk, in-person and virtual
- 1 Mile Family Fun Walk, in-person and virtual
- 100 Yards Dumpling Dash for ages 10 and younger
The in-person 5K is a single-loop course that runs through a tree-lined neighborhood and starts and finishes at St. Bernadette School on Bond and Turner Avenues in Drexel Hill. The in-person 5K is professionally chip timed by Bryn Mawr Racing, and medals are awarded to the fastest runner in each age category. Virtual participants may use the RaceJoy app, choose the Bernie's Route mapping option or a personal route, and have November 21–28, 2026 to complete the distance and submit a time online; a printable commemorative certificate is available after submission.
Fundraising pages can be created to support St. Bernadette School. Organizers cover the online processing fee for registrations made before October 18, 2026, and students may wear their Turkey Trot shirt on a designated school day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
