St Anne's Triathlon
St Anne's Triathlon takes place on Sunday 4th April 2027 at Fleetwood Leisure Centre on the Esplanade, Fleetwood FY7 6HF. The event uses closed roads and a flat, fast route along the Fleetwood promenade. It is open to adults and to all children in the Tri Star age groups. The event includes medals, chip timing and prizes.
The swim takes place in an indoor heated 25 m pool with set lengths for each category:
- Adults / Youth: 400 m (16 lengths)
- Tri Start: 50 m (2 lengths)
- Tri Star 1: 150 m (6 lengths)
- Tri Star 2: 200 m (8 lengths)
- Tri Star 3: 300 m (12 lengths)
The bike course uses the Esplanade with a U-turn at Balmoral Terrace. Adult competitors complete four laps, each approximately 5 km. Youth riders complete two laps, a 10 km route. Cyclists must mount at the mount line and dismount at the mount line on return; helmets must not be removed until the bike is racked. Care is advised at turn points and normal road rules apply.
The run starts from transition onto the sea-wall pavement. Adults run past the lakes toward the golf course and back. Children follow a clearly marked turning point and must not turn until they reach it.
