About the race
The SRS Home & School Association presents the inaugural Halloween fun run and family event in Swarthmore, with start and finish in front of the Inn at Swarthmore. The program includes both a community 5k and a shorter family run or walk, and the shorter event follows the 5k.
The 5k will be chip timed but is not USTA certified. The family distance will be untimed. Participants will receive a bib, finish line refreshments and a special swag item while supplies last.
The event is organized as a community and family activity with an emphasis on costumes. The Swarthmore Lions Club will hold a Halloween parade and a costume contest after the running events.
Practical details available from the organizer include early bird registration pricing through September 30 and a family four pack registration option. The event location is given as 10 S Chester Rd, Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, with the race start and finish at the Inn at Swarthmore.
