Sri Chinmoy races in Battersea Park 2026
A series of evening races is offered in Battersea Park during the summer of 2026. The programme includes four events organised by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team, delivered on looped courses within the park that are described as flat and traffic free. Races and formats listed for the series include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 3x1 mile relay
- 2 mile
- 24 hour track race
All races hold UK Athletics race permits and course accuracy certification, and results are recognised by Power of 10. Registration is online only and closes three days before each race or when an event is full. Race fees for Battersea Park races are stated at £10 (£8 for club members) and the relay fee is £30 per team of three.
Race HQ and finish locations are on East Carriage Drive near the Millennium Arena athletics track and Pear Tree Cafe; the relay HQ is adjacent to Rosery Gate car park. Parking is available at Rosery Gate or Chelsea Gate and is free on Tuesday evenings after 5pm. On-course provision includes a water station and a bag drop with a bag tag sent with race numbers. Showers are available at the Millenium Arena sports centre for an additional cost. Awarding categories include top finishers by overall places and by veteran age groups.
