Sri Chinmoy 5K Races in Battersea Park
The Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team stages a small series of evening races in Battersea Park during 2026. The series comprises four events on these dates: 23 June, 21 July, 15 September and 29 September. Three of the events are 5K races and one is a relay race.
Courses are laid out as loops within Battersea Park. They are described as flat and traffic free, with UK Athletics course accuracy certification and race permits in place. Finish and Race HQ for the 5K races are on East Carriage Drive beside the Millennium Arena running track, near the Pear Tree Cafe. The Battersea Relays use South Carriage Drive with HQ adjacent to Rosery Gate car park.
All registration is online and closes three days before each race or when a race is full. Entry fees for Battersea Park races are listed at £10 (£8 club); relay teams are charged £30 per team of three. A bag drop is provided at Race HQ and competitors receive a bag tag with their race number. A course-side water station is available but runners are advised to bring their own water. Results are recognised by Power of 10. Additional facilities noted include toilets within the park and paid showers at the Millennium Arena sports centre.
