The Sri Chinmoy 5 km is a road race held in Edinburgh at the Silverknowes Esplanade along Marine Drive. This event serves as the Scottish Athletics 5k Road Championship and is a designated part of the Lindsays Road Race Championship Series for 2026.
The course is accurately measured and consists of a flat, traffic-free riverside route designed for fast completion times. For the 2026 edition, the race utilizes a single mixed start for all participants. The minimum age for entry is 15 years old on the day of the race.

All finishers receive a medal upon completion. Beyond standard trophies for the top three men and women under 40, awards are presented to the first finishers in several age categories: Under 17, Under 20, and Veteran groups ranging from 40 to 70. In keeping with event tradition, pineapples are also awarded.
As a championship event, Scottish Athletic medals are given to the top three individuals in Senior, U20, and Veteran categories. Team medals are also available for Senior and U20 categories. Facilities at the site include mobile toilets and marquee changing areas, though showers are not available. Limited free parking is provided at Silverknowes, and the location is accessible via several local bus routes. Water is provided at the finish line.
