Sri Chinmoy 100km Road Relays and Solo Run
The event takes place in Commonwealth Park and Henry Rolland Park, Canberra on 20–21 February 2027. It features both solo and relay formats on an AIMS certified 5 km loop alongside Lake Burley Griffin. The 100 km solo requires 20 laps of the loop and the 50 km solo requires 10 laps.
Participants will use a measured loop on shared pathways that includes a mix of bitumen, sealed red gravel sections and a short hill. There are two aid stations per lap located at the start/finish area and the western turnaround near Acton West Beach, offering water, sports drink, fruit, chips and sweets. A food service marquee provides hot food and snacks through the night; dinner and breakfast options are available with pre-order vouchers for team supporters and helpers, while all food is vegetarian and prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens.
Relay teams exchange a race belt containing the race bib and timing chip in the designated timing area only. Teams must change runners after every lap, no runner may run consecutive legs, and each team member must complete at least one leg. Mixed teams must have a minimum of eight female legs out of twenty to qualify. Headlamps are compulsory to bring, and pacing, alcohol and smoking are not permitted on the course. Awards and finisher medallions are presented after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
