SRC 20th Anniversary Prediction Run

SRC holds a prediction run on September 3, 2026, at their renovated shop at 19 Main St in Sayville. The event is a 3 mile prediction run that follows a route through the streets of South Sayville.

Participants must predict their finishing time when registering. Winners are determined by how close a participant finishes to their predicted time rather than by who finishes fastest. The use of any electronic device, including watches or phones, is prohibited while running the event; organizers note they will not actively check for devices but ask participants to follow the rule.

Registration carries no fee. After the run, participants may gather next door at Five Points Cafe where a free beer is provided to mark the event's 20th anniversary and the shop's return to Main St. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
