Event Overview
The Squirrel Run XXVIII is the 28th annual Jimmy Kennedy Memorial Run for ALS. It takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Pageant Field on Merrymount Parkway in Quincy, Massachusetts. Proceeds from the event benefit The Angel Fund for ALS Research.
Event Details
The event features three main activities:
- A 5k run.
- A 5k fitness walk.
- Children's races, games, and rides.
Registration for the 5k and fitness walk is $40 before June 1, 2026, and $45 after. The first 150 online registrants receive a free goodie bag, and all registrants get a souvenir t-shirt. Same-day registration is accepted. The registration fee for children's activities is $15 per child.
Awards
Awards, consisting of gift cards, merchandise, and apparel, are given in several categories including top male and female finishers, top three male and female high school and middle school finishers, and top three male and female finishers in various age groups.
